OJ Loopz
Glaswegian produces song for Sean Price!

Glaswegian hip hop producer OJ LOOPZ has just completed a song featuring rap veteran and underground legend Sean Price.

Price's critically acclaimed sophomore album, Jesus Price Supastar, was released on January 30, 2007. Jesus Price broke onto the Billboard 200 chart, and peaked at #3 on the Heatseekers chart. The majority of the album was produced by Justus League members 9th Wonder and Khrysis, and featured guest spots from Boot Camp members Buckshot, Rock and Steele, Justus League members Phonte, Chaundon and Skyzoo, Sadat X and protege Rustee Juxx.

Thanks to a competition run by Odeisel of hip hop website www.allhiphop.com OJ LOOPZ won the chance for a song he'd produced for D.C Metro Area up and coming emcee Magnum Dollar$ to have a verse from Sean P added.

The song; Magnum Dollar$ ft. Sean Price 'Unbreakable' produced by OJ LOOPZ is now completed and set to be on many mixtapes from NYC to Florida and across to California as well as various internet radio shows and digital download sites.

OJ LOOPZ has recently come to prominence on the Scottish Hip Hop scene thanks to his track 'Pyrophonics' on the Temple of Breaks
instrumental hip hop album compiled by Jay Large of Still Diggin.

He has several major projects due to drop over the next few months and plans a mixtape alongside his Californian production partner P.O. this summer.

Established over the last four years as a must-see event in the dance calendar at Sadlers Wells, Breakin’ Convention festival breaks out of London for the first time to tour across the UK.

Breakin Convention

From pioneering artists to new skool visionaries, Breakin’ Convention brings together the finest street dancers from around the world. Hosted and curated by Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Jonzi D, Breakin’ Convention is the only opportunity in Scotland to see the world’s finest poppers, lockers, breakers and krumpers gathered together for two nights.

Breakin’ Convention features artists from USA, Brazil and France, as well as a host of local talent. Electric Boogaloos (USA) return, following their great successes in London in 04 & 05, and present the première of Tribute to Skeeter Rabbit (R.I.P), their new work in memory of the group’s founder member who died last year. Brazilian Frank Ejara, who uses boogaloo locking and popping techniques, will take the audience into an imaginary world with Som Di Movimento, in which sound and movement fuse. Plus the hugely popular Franck II Louise (France) will perform their futuristic piece Drop It. This cutting-edge company constantly pushes the boundaries of dance, combining movement with technology.

Local hip hop artist Tony Mills has been working with the Dance Consortium and Jonzi in confirming the local acts. For the main stage acts these include: (11 May) Indie B Jewels and The Flying Jalapenos, Rhythm Inc, Etch n Sketch, and (12 May) Transendance, Free2Flow Crew, Showcase the Street Dance Company and Psycho Sylez.

There will additionally be foyer DJs: P Styles, Reed Richards and Richie Ruftone, as well as MC Profisee – Great Ezcape (11 May only), Bigg Taj (12 May only), workshops and freestyle sessions.
