Glasgows very own Mista Loki will be returning to Radio Scotland as presenter of various programmes related to under age binge drinking and ill health in the West of Scotland.

Welcome to Shettleston will be aired in October and is a four part series exploring the issues surrounding Glasgows reputation as the 'sickest' city in the western world. Shettleston, Maryhill and Springburn are officially the three most deprived areas in the UK. With male life expectency at a shocking 56 years old approx. This means many people die before they can even claim their pittance of a pension!

The other one off special will be 'ACTION SCOTLAND' which concerns the increasing binge drinking culture i'm sure many of you will be directly aware of. As part of this programme I was invited to patrol East Kilbride in the back of a Police Car apprehending yoofs caught drinking on the streets.

I sincerely hope you will all give these programmes a listen and I will give the dates they are being aired as soon as I get them.
