K9KEV real name Kevin Irvine, starting his rap career at the tender age of 13. Originally Kevin is from a small fishing town in the west of Scotland called Oban but now lives in Greenock. His influences are such rappers as Eminem, Tupac, Gangstarr Big L, Naughty by Nature and many manyothers.

K9KEV has also played all over the country including such venues as g2, Archaos, Oban Music Festival, Reading Rooms (Dundee) and all over Argyll and Bute. With his 30 minute sets and 'head nodding beats' and a stage presence that not only can you see his passion for what he does but he can work a crowd and it's obvious that he's a natural performer. From rapping about Domestic Abuse to rapping about his genitals! K9kevs lyrical content is broader than the Clyde! Here is his discography to date:

K9kev is currently attending James Watt College in Greenock studying a sound engineering course. And is now working on a new material for an ep with glasgow rapper 'Chad the Lad'. At the age of only 18 with 3 underground albums under his belt the future is looking good for K9kev!
