Granite Emcees are a collective of MCs and DJs from the City of Aberdeen in the UK.
They came together for a love of the music and to try and change the face of the cities Rap Scene. At the time they felt the scene was being run by MCs that were not coming real or correct so they formed together to make the best music to come from the city and to give it a fresh REAL Aberdeen feel.
Since then they have Released a CD on the Street called "The Promo" which was a mix of Granite Emcees and Solo material by the Granite Emcees Artists. The CD soon built up hype in the city and was on the lips of every Hip Hop head in the city.
Reviews of "The Promo" soon showed that Granite Emcees were doing exactly what they set out to do. Now Granite Emcees are set to Release there EP titled "Forever and a Day" the 7 Track EP includes 2 FULL tracks from "The Promo" and 5 Brand New Tracks and features some great acts.
