Bright Sparks aka DC Clements as he is better known as is a solo MC from Glasgow Scotland. He lives in the south west of Glasgow in a scheme called Penilee. He has been involved in the creative side of hip hop music since 2001. He was a member of Disbanded Hip Hop Group Home Grown Pham who split in 2005.


Together they played venues such as:

The Artschool (Glasgow)
The Arches (Glasgow)
Reading Rooms (Dundee)
Caberet Voiltire (Edinburgh)
Saltcoats Town Hall (Saltcoats)
Cathouse (Glasgow)
CCA (Glasgow)


and they supported such acts as Ugly Duckling, DJ Format & Abdominal, FYA and many BBC 1Xtra DJ's, aswell as having their song aired on stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Radiomagnetic.


DC was also part of the 2003/2004 Trialect course which was run in Glasgow and it was DC who put together and mixed the 2005 "Route 54" mixtape which featured some of scotland hottest MC's.


He is currently working on his solo mixtape which is due for release in the near future aswell as plans for a 12" in the future.
